Nuremberg Sant’Anna

President & Board of Director
Founder and CEO of the Brazilian Cultural Center of Hawaii (BCCHI), Sant’Anna played an important role in the Brazilian and Hawaiian communities as well as numerous projects, including a TV program about Brazilian culture called “The Brazilian Update” and Portuguese Language class for children and adults called “Power With Aloha'' (POWA) at the University of Hawaii. He also is the published author of “Death Can Wait”, a book of his memoir.

Emília Oliveira

Treasurer & Board of Director
Emilia is a graduate in Accounting from University of Hawaii and has vast experience dealing with small, medium and corporation business in USA and Brazil with more than 20 years of experience providing accounting and bookkeeping services for business owners. She understands the unique needs to help Chamebr’s Members stay compliant with business and tax laws, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide detailed and timely financial information to management.

Luana Sant’Anna

Secretary
Raised in Hawaii with a Brazilian background, Luana has a full understanding of both Hawaiiaan and Brazilian culture and she is a licensed local Realtor who, besides being a huge Chamber supporter as a Secretary, she also can help new members to invest on real estate on the islands of Hawaii.

The Brazil-Hawaii Chamber of Commerce facilitates business to business contacts among its members through meetings, functions, and activities, which offer a high volume of interaction with prominent business professionals from all sectors of trade and industry. Members will have numerous opportunities to network and share information with other members and business leaders.
International Contacts
The Chamber's focus on business and economic development in the Pacific Basin involves close relationships with international companies with particular emphasis on Brazil-Hawaii ties.
Business Referrals
The Chamber directs inquiries to members from companies and individuals seeking products and services.
Voice In Government
Working closely with other organizations, the Chamber actively evaluates issues affecting business and membership concerns. Members will have the opportunity to help determine the Chamber's position on key business issues. Breakfast, lunch, and evening forums and seminars are conducted to allow members to establish informal relationships with our City, State and national leaders in government.
Business Seminars and Training Sessions

Various business seminars are scheduled throughout the year. Current topics in business-economic development, solutions and resources for small-businesses, government affairs and legislative issues, doing business in Brazil.

Brazilian business opportunities for the 2014 World Football Championship and 2016 Olympic Games; professional investments tips are a few examples of the kinds of seminars the Chamber hosts.

Professional Development
Through active participation on committees, members will have opportunities to improve their communication skills, develop planning and organizational skills, and receive leadership coaching from senior executives. In addition, members will be exposed and immersed in strategic planning, visioning and critical thinking situations.
Professional Enhancement
Members will gain knowledge and "know-how" from CEOs, entrepreneurs, founders of businesses, public sector leaders and other professionals. Members can expand their knowledge in best-practices, budget and finance, general business, human resources, information technology, management, marketing, and other current trends and issues in business, which will propel them to be better-informed professionals.
